Updated dates – important dates calender

BFCCC Families,

Welcome back and a very Happy New Year to you all!

Attached is an updated copy of the ‘Important dates for 2012’ BFCCC calendar.
Unfortunately a couple of dates have clashed, which we have now altered. They are as follows…

The parent information night will now be held on the 21st of February at 6.15 – 7.15pm. (NOT the 14.2.12)
The first General meeting for 2012 will now also be held on Tuesday the 21st of February at 7.30pm. (Not the 15.2.12)

This is the only change we have made, can you please ensure to dispose of the old calendar and pop up the new updated version.
If you are unsure of these changes or need any further clarification, please see me.

Fundraiser money

Families,

Just a little reminder that the Christmas card fundraiser money was due back this week.
If you could ensure that all money (or Christmas cards) are returned before the end of next week please.

We are also still looking for someone to volunteer for the maintenance position on the BFCCC board.
We do have someone who has volunteered to be the ‘2IC’ to work alongside this person, so if you could all have a bit of a think about it, it would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully out of 76 families at the centre, we can manage to find one person to put their hand up to volunteer.
It would be wonderful if we could start the new year with this position filled!

Living Fundraiser Christmas Cards – Please return funds raised and any cards you have left over

Dear families

Thank you to those families who have supported our final fundraiser for the year.
If you have participated in selling the Xmas Cards, all money needs to be with the office this week. If you have any cards remaining, please also return these so the centre doesn’t get charged for any items we couldn’t sell.

Thanks very much for your support. We will be conducting a review of our fundraising initiatives in the new year, and will be asking for your feedback and ideas on how to continue to raise money for our centre. We will be in touch in January, but in the meantime, if you have any thoughts or ideas, please email the Fundraising Board Member, Lizzy Geremia –thegeremias.

Reminder – Christmas party and books

A reminder to all families that the BFCCC end of year Christmas party is this Friday the 9th of December 6.00 – 8.00pm. (further details in the BFCCC newsletter)
If you have not yet ordered or paid for the Christmas book for your child, you will now have to bring in a wrapped, named book before the end of the week, if you want your child to receive a present from Santa.

Also the centre photo’s and payments will be being collected on Wednesday the 7th Dec.

Please support the final fundraiser for the year

Dear Families

We urgently need you to collect your Christmas Card Fundraiser Pack. All funds for the cards need to be back at the centre by 14th December, so time is running out. The packs are available at the office for collection.

The centre relies heavily on fundraising, and really needs the support of every family to finish the year on a high. Please add your name to the list when you collect your bag, so we can keep track of who is still to collect their cards.
