All permanent part-time and full-time staff hold current certificates in First Aid, CPR, Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis/Epi pen training.
The Qualified Educator in each child’s room holds a current level 1 certificate in Food Safety.
Both our Cook and our Centre Co-ordinator hold Level 2 Food Safety certificates.
Our 2IC holds a certificate in Health and Safety for Representatives approved by WorkSafe Victoria.
All certificates are updated on a yearly basis.
All permanent part-time and full-time staff attend 2 professional training sessions per year to ensure they are up to date with current industry practice, regulations and guidelines.
Together as a team, the staff also attend a full-day training session related to a suitable and appropriate topic within the industry.
Our staff are professionally qualified in childcare and early childhood development, and are our most valuable asset.
Working in teams of two, our staff provision exceeds current regulatory requirements on staff-to-child ratios.
